I have more workout clothes than I like to admit. And as much as DC would disagree, I feel like I have a good reason for it! I mean, I do go through 1-2 outfits per day between teaching classes, training clients and getting my own workouts in.
Yet, no matter how many shiny new leggings or trendy sports bras I buy, I still have my go-to pieces. You know, the ones that fit just right. Even though the fabric may be tarnishing and the colour slightly fading, you just can’t seem to get rid of them.
Now if you watch me on Instagram, you’ll know I looove a good sweat session. For me and my workouts, the motto is, the sweatier, the better. But my fave pieces of workout gear that I have used over and over again are, quite frankly, getting over the sweat.
Lately I’ve been noticing lingering odours in my clothes even after they’re out of the wash (especially when I wash my stuff with DC…sweaty man smell – ew!) And let’s be honest, no one wants to spin next to the smelly girl.
I had been using the same detergent for a while without ever thinking about the fact that my workout clothes probably need something a little stronger.
I realized I was probably just masking the smell of used workout clothes all this time without really ever getting at the root of the smell. I needed something stronger and more formulated to actually remove odours at the core, so I was excited to try the new Arm & Hammer™ Plus OxiClean™ Odour Blasters detergent.
So, the product is made up of OxiClean™ Stain Fighters detergent PLUS Arm & Hammer™ Baking Soda – a lethal combination that actually fights odours stuck deep down in the fabric.
What I like about it is that you’re not only getting rid of the existing dirt and smell but also taking preventative measures so you break the build-up of odours cycle.
I also like knowing that this combo will help get stains out and help all my activewear faves hold up for longer!
As long as I can continue my sweaty workouts in my fave pair of paints, I’m going to keep using Arm & Hammer™ Plus OxiClean™ Odour Blasters detergent.
Now, where is DC so he can go finish that load of laundry 😉
