I’m a Toronto based health and fitness fanatic and I am so excited you are reading this!
I wasn’t always into this “healthy lifestyle.” In fact, it was pretty much the opposite. I grew up active by dancing but was always eating junk food. It wasn’t until I entered the corporate workforce that my weight and health started catching up to me and I realized I needed a change. You can read my full journey in my first ever post here.
I started meal prepping, working out, and implementing small changes into my routine that made a huge difference in my life. People started to notice I looked better and asked what my secrets were. I loved sharing my tips and tricks for living a healthy lifestyle that, after 5 years of being too scared, I decided to start my Instagram account.
My account started to gain a lot of traction and I knew I wanted to leave my full-time job to pursue health and fitness but I didn’t know where to start. I kept up with my corporate real estate job all while creating content on Instagram , teaching spin classes before and after work, and decided to get my certifications to become a personal trainer with CanFitPro and a certified Holistic Health Coach with the Institute of Integrative Nutrition . Eventually I gained enough courage to leave real estate to pursue fitness full-time. My full story on how I left my job is here.
Now I spend my days personal training clients, teaching group classes, creating weekly vlogs on youtube and content on Instagram. But my most favourite times of the day are when I get to hang out at home with my hubby, DC, and we are so excited to be welcoming our first child, #babykale, this spring 🙂
